Unable to attend Field Day on March 20? We invite you to Build Your Own (BYO) Field Day! Gather your colleagues to participate in your own version of Field Day for a chance to win an official Living Well traveling trophy. 

BYO Field Day is open to employees in Bryan–College Station and remote campuses. To celebrate participation across locations, two traveling trophies will be awarded:

• Bryan–College Station
• Remote Campus

How to Enter: 

Build your own Field Day in your department or office area by using the activity examples provided below or by making your own activities. Complete opt-in form and host your Field Day between Monday, January 12 and Friday, March 6. Be sure to take photos and videos during your Field Day! After your day of fun, send Living Well your submission by Friday, March 6 at 5:00 p.m. to livingwell@tamu.edu. 

NOTE: All submissions must include an email and social media submission. 

Email requirements: 

• Campus location and department
• Names of participants
• List of activities conducted, minimum of 3 activities 
• At least 5 pictures and 1 video of 3+ field day activities in action
  • Email submission should include:
    • Upload to google drive, send us the link *make sure the link is available for anyone with the link*
    • Upload to filex.tamu.edu, send us the link

Social media requirements: 

• Post on social media 
• Use the hashtag #BTHOFIELDDAY
  • If your account is private, take a screenshot of your post and send via email
• Tag @LivingWellTAMU on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, and/or LinkedIn)
• Feel free to include a link to the social posts with the above email requirements 

What Living Well is looking for in submissions: 

• Active engagement and participation 
• Creativity 
• Team Spirit 
• FUN! 

The winning entries will receive a traveling trophy to show off to other departments. Winners will be contacted via email on Monday, March 23, and given a social media shoutout. 

How to have a BYO Field Day: 

• Complete opt-in form: tx.ag/BYOFieldDay26
• Set up a date and time between Monday, January 12 and Friday, March 6
• Promote the field day to your department or office: 
  • Meetings
  • Flyers 
  • Breakrooms 
  • Email etc.
• Select activities for Field Day – see activity ideas below 
• Arrange individuals into teams when participants arrive at your Field Day 
• Submit your photos and videos to livingwell@tamu.edu by Friday, March 6 at 5:00 p.m. CT
